Now For Wrath

It had been quite a while since the Dark Lord Sauron saw the tabletop, and he has yet to make an in-game appearance on this blog so I was happy to play him! Andrew and I rolled randomly for armies, and he came up with The Grey Company. 

  Here she is. The big, nasty, spider nesting in the tunnel near Cirith Ungol. This model was, in all honesty, a total nightmare to assemble. The metal legs required much more patience than I possess...

 Last time I posted the heroes of Mordor ... so today it's time to look at the rank and file. 

 This is it. Just opening up the new blog with a few pictures of the Dark Lord himself! The base is 3d printed, but the model is just the standard GW "fine" cast resin miniature. Really enjoyed painting him up mostly because it came together so quickly! Low effort but looks awesome... my favorite.
